James Gaul, MD

Medical care is a partnership that starts with good communication. My job is to offer support, guidance and education for patients and their families regarding healthy lifestyles and during periods of acute and chronic illness. I enjoy caring for children and adults through all stages of life. I feel that is important to spend time actively listening and understanding my patients’ stories to develop with each person an individualized care plan. Providing information regarding current practice guidelines helps to ensure that my patients can make and form choices. I encourage my patients to ask questions because working together is essential to great care.




To maintain my own health, I try to practice the same good health habits that I discuss with patients in clinic. I enjoy running and biking and try to stay active over the winter. My joy is to spend time with my wife and three children. We enjoy spending time in state and national parks and are always looking for new places to visit.
