Sonja Short, MD

Having grown-up in a small town in Montana, I really enjoy knowing my patients over the long term and learning their stories. Doing both pediatrics and internal medicine allows me to watch the children grow and learn healthy habits and to help adults stay healthy and deal with medical issues of all kinds. I believe in talking with patients, giving them the options available and helping them come to decisions about what will work best for their lives and situation. Choosing a primary care doctor is about finding someone that is a good personality fit for you and that you can partner with to stay healthy and keep any medical problems that you have controlled. I love all of my partners, which is why I work at the Fairview Eagan Clinic and know that one of us is right for you. I work full-time for Fairview, but work with our IT system with half my time so I am only in clinic 2 days per week.
