As a hospitalist, I take care of patients with acute and often severe illnesses. My hope is to make the hard and often frightening experience of hospitalization a bit more comfortable and easy to navigate by approaching patients and their families with gentleness, empathy, and clear communication. When not taking care of patients I like reading books, running, eating, and exploring.
